What are "Clinician Reviews"?

These reviews were collected by an independent third party, FrontrowMD, who shares free samples with clinicians so that they have the option to either try the product themselves or share it with patients in their practice.

FrontrowMD then asks as many of them as possible to share their thoughts about the product in an independent review, without compensating them. If helpful to save the clinicians time, we provide one or more pre-drafted reviews that they are welcome to edit or submit as they see fit. Any submitted review reflects the clinicians' genuine views and/or experiences with the product.

Additionally, health brands must publish all detailed reviews, even negative reviews that have clinical rationale for why they do not recommend this product.

If they submit a review, we offer a 30% discount for all their patients on that product, which is double the standard discount clinicians can offer patients through the FrontrowMD discounts page platform.

We hope these reviews help you understand whether this is a safe and effective product, as explained by medical experts.

Supports eye comfort during screen time and antioxidant balance
If you spend most of your workday staring at screens, you may have noticed your eyes sometimes feel tired or strained by evening. When patients deal with this kind of eye discomfort, I recommend an astaxanthin supplement like this one from Rovina because it may ease the oxidative load on the eyes. One human trial has even shown that this active ingredient may help maintain visual sharpness during heavy screen work. The astaxanthin here comes from microalgae and may have antioxidant properties, which research suggests could have positive effects on markers of inflammation more broadly. I think Rovina is a practical pick if you want a little extra support for all-around wellness.

Potent antioxidant supports daily skin health and resilience
I’d gladly recommend Rovina’s softgels to patients who want to support their skin as it ages. The primary ingredient is an antioxidant called astaxanthin, included here at 12 mg, which is similar to what’s been studied in research. Antioxidants like astaxanthin can provide support for the skin against everyday stress that can otherwise wear it down. Helping keep that stress in check may encourage softer feeling or healthier looking skin. Some research suggests that astaxanthin can also help the skin stay resilient against sun exposure, another common source of skin stress. If used as part of a regular routine, I think this can be a great way to care for the skin over time.
